Agnieszka Tazbir (born 1958 in Warsaw, Poland) completed the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw
at the painting department. Obtained diploma with honourable mention in Ludwik Maciag's studio, 1986.
Awarded by Society of Friends of Fine Arts for the best show of the year in 1986.
Awarded a scholarschip by Ministry of Culture. Presented her works in one-man exhibitions in Warsaw
- 1986, 1987, 1990, 1995, 2001. Took part in group exhibitions in Lodz,
Elblag, Warsaw - 1987, 2000 and also in group exhibition "New Artistic Poland" (Perigueux, Paris - 1990)
and 2010 - 2011 in international group exhibition "East - West - Axis".
Some of her pictures are in the Golub collection in Chicago.
Her canvases are held also by private collections in Poland, Sweden,
France, Germany, Belgium, England, USA, Canada, Japan, Columbia, Australia and Italy.
